My name is Davey Newlove. I was born in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 1980s. Growing up there, I became a fan of the San Francisco Giants and San Francisco 49ers at a very young age. In the late 1980s, my family moved to the San Joaquin Valley where I spent the next 20 years of my life. While living in the Central Valley, my love of sports grew as the Giants had a AAA team in Fresno. I also became a fan of Fresno State and watched some very talented players go through their program.

In 2009 I move to the Los Angeles area to get a B.A. Degree in Cinema and Television Arts from California State University, Northridge (Go Matadors!). I had a lot of fun banter with my friends in LA who were fans of the Los Angeles Dodgers (boooooooo). The Giants gave me a lot to say as they won the World Series in 2010 and 2012.

In early 2014 I moved to the Pacific Northwest, where I would spend the next eight years of my life. The Giants made me happy in 2014 winning their third World Series championship in a five year span. That made up for how bad the 49ers were and all the trash talk I endured from Seattle Seahawk fans while I lived there.

During the pandemic in 2020 I took a trip to visit a friend in Kansas City, MO during my birthday weekend. Little did I know that my friend would introduce me to the love of my life that weekend. After doing the long distance relationship for a while, I moved out to Kansas City in the spring of 2022. Kansas City is where I currently call home and I love the city and the sports teams here as well.
